Intensive Pottery Wheel Course

In addition to creative workshops with clay, I also offer an intensive individual course on potter's wheel. The intense pottery wheel course is suitable for everyone, even complete beginners :)

BASIC INFORMATION:

• 10 hour individual course

• One session lasts for about 2 hours

• We’ll be learning basic techniques of clay throwing on the potter's wheel

• All the material used at the class is included in the course fee

• At the end of the course, you will take home two coffee cups and two bowls that you will make by your own on potter's wheel

• Price for intense 10 hour clay course: 200 eur

COURSE CONTENT:

 • Presentation of all the tools that are used to make clay products

• Introduction to pottery and different types of clay

• Clay preparation and kneading

• Centering techniques on the potter's wheel

• Opening and lifting the clay into the basic cylinder and convex shape – making cup and bowl

• Trimming clay products made on potter’s wheel

• Making handles for cups

• Brief introduction to glazes

• Glazing pottery
