Use of cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or other device when you visit a website. They do not pose a threat to your device and do not affect its operation. Managing cookies is entirely in the hands of the user, as you can limit or completely disable their storage in your web browser settings.
Cookies enable a faster and more personalized website experience. They help the system remember your settings and experiences, making your browsing experience easier and more enjoyable. They also help certain features of the online store work.
The cookies used by our website do not contain any personal data and are time-limited. We use them to track basic statistics about website visits and to improve the user experience.
The use of cookies at the European Union level is regulated by the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications (2002/58/EC), which was amended by Directive 136/2009. In Slovenia, this area is regulated by the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1), specifically Article 157.
What cookies do we use?
The website www.vkceramics.si uses various types of cookies for the following purposes:
Necessary cookies: enable the basic functioning of the website (e.g. the functioning of the shopping cart),
Functional cookies: remember your choices and settings,
Analytical cookies (e.g. Google Analytics): collect anonymous data about website usage to improve the performance of the site,
Personalization cookies: help tailor content based on your interests.
With each visit, the system automatically assigns you an identification cookie that tracks your activities within the online store (e.g., tracking your shopping cart). This cookie is stored only for the duration of your visit and is automatically deleted after one hour of inactivity. Some cookies are more permanent and allow us to recognize you on your next visit (e.g., a cookie that remembers which products you have already rated).
We use Google Analytics to analyze visits, which uses cookies to collect anonymous statistical data. The data is processed in aggregate, anonymized form and is used solely to improve the user experience.
To protect the security of the system, we also collect the IP addresses of users who access the website.
